Dick Dameron and Jake Peters in Innisfail. We recorded some work tracks for Dick. An extremely talented man and a great guy to work with.

I was just starting out and the room shows it. But we made a lot of incredible music and had a lot of fun

Cindy Morgan recording vocals in ARC recording studio. We sent that vocal track to Nashville and it was released on a compilation CD that year. She is an incredibly talented lady and a gem to work with. At the time she had written 21 #1 hits on the gospel charts.
This is the time to give my friend Buzz thanks and credit for his part in my writing and his devotion at the time sitting for hours with me in my first studio. I would write the music, it was all in my head. And the story of the song. But the words would be jumbled. I would play the song for him and the lyrics that I had and tell him the story. From there he sat with a clip board and calmly helped me put it all into verses that flowed so gently and easily through each bar and verse. Listen to City Lights for perfect example. I give him credit for almost every song I wrote. I believe that I wouldn’t have written like I did without his influence.  It was a crazy wild time of music, beer and smoke. It changed how I viewed life and music.

I called him the word magician

Gordy Mathiews in a

musician and great guy to work with,
he toured with KD Lang, Ian Tyson,

What a great musician and great guy to work with

John McEuen from the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band giving a workshop on the music business to local musicians and in the soundroom giving me a recording and showing what an incredible musician he is. I learned a lot from him that day. What an honor and a privilege it has been to get to know him.
