My History in Music

This site is dedicated to the memories of a great era of my life as an entertainer and to all the great musicians that I have had the honor and privilege to work with. There have been a lot of changes in my career over the years, but the memories remain. Even though Cindy and I are no longer together, the history we created will remain with us and all the people we connected with.
My music life now is performing for Seniors and writing meditations and easy listening music.

I hope you enjoy the site and share your comments. Thanks Arvin Hopcraft

My recording studio in Red Deer grew faster than I ever expected. I won 3 major awards for engineering and producing in my studio. Life was never the same after that.

Cindy Morgan recording at ARC (my studio in Red Deer) at the time of this recording she had written 21 #1 hits. I loved working with her.

Life as an artist is incredible, especially when you happen to be in the right place at the right time. I was not trying to win an award, I was only trying to do the best I could on the projects that came in. So when I won sound engineer and producer of the year 2 years in a row, I couldn’t believe it. All of a sudden I was in high demand and my life was never the same. I wouldn’t trade a minute of the 40+ years I spent in the music and entertainment industry. This site is dedicated to the memories.

Valdy giving a workshop at ARC Records recording studio. We went for supper and before he drank, he held his glass of water and sang to it, as I watched him, he said “I never drink water until I sing to it” Very spiritual man.
